WhatsApp requires a phone number to create an account, but that number does not have to be yours. Whether you need a second account for business, want to stay private when selling on a marketplace, or run client conversations separately from your personal line, a virtual number from SMSFAST gives you a real, working number without exposing your own.
WhatsApp may reject numbers from public VoIP pools, shared virtual numbers, toll-free lines, or other number types often linked to repeated registrations. Public number pools often fail because the same number is reused across many users, which may trigger WhatsApp’s automated verification checks. SMSFAST provides paid, exclusive non-VoIP numbers that are not part of public pools. Each number is assigned to one user at a time during the activation period. Delivery rates vary by country and are shown in the table above. Choose the country with the highest rate for your region.
Either create a new account by clicking "Registration" or log in if you already have one.
In the top right corner, click "+" and choose a convenient top-up method. Add the amount you need.
In the left menu, under "Select service," click "WhatsApp". Then, choose your region from the list.
Click "Buy" and wait a few seconds for your temporary number to be purchased and activated.
Copy the phone number from the "Number" field to activate the service.
Wait for the one-time password (OTP) to appear in the "Code from SMS" field, then enter it in the WhatsApp verification screen to complete registration.
Both options let you receive an SMS code on a WhatsApp number. The difference is in reliability and privacy.
Yes. SMSFAST virtual numbers work for both standard WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. WhatsApp Business uses the same SMS verification process: enter the number, receive the six-digit code, and complete setup. The steps are identical to creating a regular WhatsApp account.
The most common reason is that the number was already used to register a different WhatsApp account. Select a different number in SMSFAST. If you cancel before the SMS arrives, your balance is refunded instantly. A code that expired before you entered it is the second most frequent cause: request a new one from WhatsApp.
No. WhatsApp links one account to one phone number. To run multiple WhatsApp accounts, you need a separate number for each one. SMSFAST lets you get as many virtual numbers as needed from a single SMSFAST account, with no additional SIM cards required.
SMSFAST offers two options. Activation mode covers 20 to 90 minutes, which is enough for a single verification. Long-term rental runs from 1 day to 1 year and is renewable, keeping the number exclusively yours if you need continued access to the WhatsApp account tied to it. This refund option applies to activation mode. Long-term rental cancellation is not available yet.
In activation mode, click Cancel in your SMSFAST account. If no SMS was received, your balance is refunded instantly, with no support request needed. You can then try a different number or a different country. Choosing a country with a higher delivery rate, visible in the table on this page, reduces the chance of a failed delivery.
Virtual number services for SMS verification operate as legal B2C businesses in most jurisdictions, though local laws vary and you should check the regulations in your country before use. SMSFAST operates as a registered virtual number provider. You remain responsible for complying with WhatsApp's own terms of service regarding how you use the account after registration.
Yes. SMSFAST supports SMS verification for 190+ platforms, including Telegram, Google, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. If you purchase a number and cancel before the SMS arrives, your balance is refunded immediately, so the refund-to-balance option reduces the financial risk of trying another number or country.
